I really appreciate that confidence from the club, from the manager and from everyone involved in that situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Adrian Extension Surprising News<\/h3>\n<p>There is some surprise at the contract extension for the number 13 as he had fallen further down the goalkeeping pecking order at Liverpool behind main stopper and goalscoring hero Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher. In the 2020\/21 season Adrian made six appearances, contributing three clean sheets.<\/p>\n<p>The 34 year old knows that his game time will be limited but is committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolfc.com\/news\/first-team\/436483-adrian-signs-liverpool-fc-contract-extension\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">helping the club in any way that he can:<\/a> \u201cI try to help the team in every moment.
