Numerous Names in the Frame<\/h3>\n

Everton are now trying to find yet another manager after Ancelotti\u2019s departure, and Brands is said to hold Brighton and Hove Albion<\/a>s\u2019 Graham Potter in high esteem. However, Bill Kenwright and Farhad Moshiri are said to prefer a bigger and more established name.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, it has been the big names that have not delivered at Goodison Park, Ancelotti included. Ronald Koeman was a calculated disaster after he was brought in from Southampton,<\/a> yet both he and Ancelotti will be facing each other in the 2021\/22 El Classico.<\/p>\n

Potter has not been disregarded by the others making decisions at Everton, but it is Brands who is especially keen to land the 46-year-old who’s playing style has caught the eye of many clubs including the also managerless Tottenham Hotspur.<\/a><\/p>\n

Potter’s Shrewd Transfer Business<\/h3>\n

Everton fans have been underwhelmed by their dealings in the transfer market in recent seasons and that is another area where Potter holds appeal. He has not been a big spender at Brighton, but he has used his team of scouts to pick up lesser-known names who have been identified as being able to adapt to the Premier League, such as Leandro Trossard.<\/p>\n
