Fantasy Premier League gameweek 38 brings down the curtain on the 2020\/21 Premier League season. The final gameweek of the season has a full round of fixtures taking place simultaneously on Sunday. Read on to find out more about this gameweek.<\/p>\n
The final gameweek of the season normally produces a lot of goals. Many teams will make a lot of changes. In fact, even the goalkeepers have been rotated in recent weeks. So, it would be best to take players from teams that are fighting for something on the final day. Manchester United<\/a> are likely to rest some of their regular players ahead of their Europa League Final. So, be sure to have one or two playing options on the bench.<\/p>\n It is not worth using a transfer on a keeper this week unless absolutely necessary. It is difficult to choose a keeper this week anyways. Martin Dubravka and Bernd Leno are probably the best options.<\/p>\n Attacking defenders are the ones to get this week. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Stuart Dallas, Vladimir Coufal, Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney are the best options according to the fixtures. Liverpool<\/a>‘s clean sheet is not guaranteed, though, with Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke around. However, Robertson, especially, should get a lot of joy down the left flank. Last week, Kieran Tierney was great down that flank against Crystal Palace<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dallas and Coufal have great fixtures to get attacking returns from. Kieran Tierney has a decent fixture also with Brighton & Hove Albion missing a few attacking players.<\/p>\n Mohamed Salah is the most obvious candidate to captain in the final gameweek of the season. He is normally very good at home against weaker opposition. Despite blanking in midweek, Salah will be eager to get back on the scoring charts.<\/p>\n The Egyptian has been in decent form with three goals and an assist in the last five matches. Salah is also fighting to win the Golden Boot. Sadio Man\u00e9 is also a good pick, although finding a midfield spot for him might be tough for FPL managers.<\/p>\n Raphinha has a great fixture this week against West Bromwich Albion. He was quite unlucky not to get more points midweek.<\/p>\n Jesse Lingard got an assist and returned to scoring good points after a few weeks. He has a great fixture this week to get more points from. It should be a nice occasion for Lingard to play in front of the Hammers fans and perhaps impress them.<\/p>\n With Chelsea<\/a> looking to win and secure their place in the Champions League next season, Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic will be crucial for them.<\/p>\n Harry Kane\u2019s record against Leicester City is\u00a0simply astonishing<\/a>. Kane has scored 14 goals in 11 appearances against the Foxes in the Premier League. In fact, he scored in this\u00a0corresponding fixture<\/a>\u00a0last season as well. Besides the great record Kane has against Leicester City<\/a>, his recent form is also pretty good. He has scored five goals in his previous four away matches. Leicester City conceded four last time out at home and the importance of the fixture could see nerves come in and mistakes being made by their defenders.<\/p>\n Michail Antonio is another interesting option this week. West Ham United<\/a>\u00a0need just a draw to secure a place in next season\u2019s Europa League. Opponents Southampton have conceded nine goals over the last six gameweeks, keeping no clean sheets.
