The 22-year-old left-back, who can also cover as a left or right-sided winger, joins the Bundesliga outfit from Europa League side, Lech Poznan.<\/p>\n<p>Puchacz, who has represented Poland at all youth levels from U16 to U20, came through the ranks with <em>The Railwayman<\/em> but spent time on loan at Zag\u0142\u0119bie Sosnowiec and GKS Katowice. He returned to Poznan and has since managed 82 appearances, where he has scored seven goals and added 12 assists.<\/p>\n<p>Puchacz played in all four of this season&#8217;s Europa League qualifying matches, scoring once, and turned out in all six of their Europa League group matches.<\/p>\n<h3>What Was Said<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fc-union-berlin.de\/de\/union-live\/news\/profis\/Tymoteusz-Puchacz-wechselt-nach-Koepenick-20347U\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Speaking to the club&#8217;s official website<\/a>, Puchacz said: \u201cThe Bundesliga is one of the strongest leagues in the world, and it&#8217;s a pleasure and an honour to play there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am very happy that I can show what I can there in the new season.\u00a0I&#8217;m looking forward to my new teammates and to being able to work with Urs Fischer and his team.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And of course I can hardly wait to experience the special atmosphere in the famous Alte F\u00f6rsterei live, when hopefully as many spectators as possible will soon be able to return to the stadium.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Oliver Ruhnert, Managing Director of Professional Football, added: \u201cTymoteusz has been a regular at Lech Poznan for the past two years and has already proven his qualities internationally.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With him, we have a player capable of development who can make our team even better in our third year in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Tymoteusz Puchacz was our absolute dream solution for a commitment in this position, so we are glad that he has chosen Union.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Transfer Fee, Summer Signings and Potential Departures<\/h3>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/m.bild.de\/sport\/fussball\/fussball\/union-berlin-puchacz-kommt-fuer-vier-jahre-76432840,view=amp.bildMobile.html?__twitter_impression=true\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sport.interia.pl, as cited by Bild<\/a>, Union Berlin have paid a substantial figure to bring Tymoteusz Puchacz to the Stadion An der Alten F\u00f6rsterei.
