The Hector Bellerin\u00a0Arsenal<\/a>\u00a0career will reportedly end this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the Gunners will look to sign a replacement for the 26-year-old but are unlikely to make a move for either Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey or Inter Milan’s<\/a> Achraf Hakimi.<\/p>\n

Spaniard Has Won Three FA Cups With the Club<\/h3>\n

Bellerin’s reported summer exit will bring an end to a ten-year association with Arsenal. The right-back joined the club’s U18s from Barcelona<\/a> in July 2011 and broke into the first team in 2014 following a loan spell at Watford.<\/p>\n

In his time at the club, Bellerin has been part of three successful FA Cup<\/a>-winning teams and has also earned four caps for his country. Although the current season is set to be his last, Bellerin has also played a significant role in the Mikel Arteta era at the Emirates and has made 31 appearances in all competitions in 2020\/21.<\/p>\n

Achraf Hakimi Rules Out Inter Milan Exit<\/h3>\n

One player unlikely to replace Bellerin in North London is Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi. The 22-year-old, who can play in either full-back position, has been a key part of Antonio Conte’s side as they look to seal a first Serie A title since 2010.<\/p>\n

Hakimi has played in 29 of Inter’s 30 league games so far this season, helping the Nerazzurri open up an 11-point gap at the top of the table. Addressing his future in club football, the former Real Madrid man told Repubblica<\/a> that he wants to stay in Milan ‘for a long time’, as he is enjoying playing under Antonio Conte, who he describes as ‘a big brother’.<\/p>\n

Another young right-back who has been linked with Arsenal is Brighton and Hove Albion<\/a> star Tariq Lamptey. The 20-year-old has excelled since moving to the south coast from Chelsea<\/a> in January 2020, but is reportedly not among the top candidates to replace Bellerin, should the Spaniard leave the Emirates as expected at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Lamptey caught the eye with a series of excellent performances for Brighton in the early part of the season but has been sidelined since December with a serious hamstring injury that has limited him to only 11 league appearances in 2020\/21.<\/p>\n
