With his future at Chelsea yet to be decided and the impact of Thomas Tuchel’s arrival yet to be determined, the USA international is seemingly content at the Belgian club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miazga’s arrival at Anderlecht was the fourth time that he has been shipped on loan since joining the Blues from New York Red Bulls<\/a> in 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last season, the 25-year-old racked up 24 appearances for Reading,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0proving his worth in the country’s second tier. However, it remains to be seen whether his move to Belgian’s first division is another step in his progression with Chelsea, or if the Blues deem Miazga as surplus to requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2020\/21 campaign has been a successful one for the USA international. He has emerged as an integral part of Kompany’s squad, racking up 26 appearances since his move in October.<\/span><\/p>\n

Miazga Expresses His Desire to Stay at Anderlecht<\/span><\/h3>\n

Speaking to HLN, as cited by Football.London,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Miazga, addressing what the future holds for him, said: “Ask me again later. I would like to be here, but such a decision depends on several parameters.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The 25-year-old’s contract expires in the summer of 2022, meaning that the Belgian club would need to offer a fee for his services, should they attempt to secure his signing in the coming months.<\/span><\/p>\n
