The Aston Villa<\/a> Jack Grealish<\/a> valuation of \u00a3100 million has deterred Manchester City<\/a>, who are likely to turn their interests towards Erling Haaland<\/a> this summer, according to James Ducker<\/a> of the Telegraph.<\/p>\n

Jack Grealish has attracted interest<\/a> from many top clubs since Villa’s Premier league<\/a> promotion almost two years ago. The Englishman has impressed greatly, despite his side being in a relegation battle, and is now the subject of many transfer rumors. In particular, both Manchester United<\/a> and City have been heavily linked with the 26-year-old, who signed a new five year deal at Villa Park in September of last year.<\/p>\n

City, though, appear to have been deterred by the Villains’ incredible \u00a3100 million valuation of their star man, which is relatively even larger in the context of a pandemic-struck transfer market. Despite its impacts, like a complete loss of matchday revenue, the Lions are not struggling as much as others, with their billionaire owners having no financial need to sell Grealish.<\/p>\n

The Englishman’s agent gave his view on what this summer’s transfer market could look like, telling the Athletic: \u201cI\u2019m expecting three or four very big deals of my own that will break a lot of records”.<\/p>\n

Manchester City now appear to have turned their interest elsewhere, with Erling Haaland one of the big names potentially on the move this summer.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian striker has become one of the most sought after talents in world football since his move to Borussia Dortmund<\/a> last January, and could be set to leave after just one and a half years in Germany.<\/p>\n

Among those interested<\/a> are City, United, and Chelsea<\/a>, as well as a host of other clubs from Europe’s top divisions.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola is aware that he will have to break the Citizens’ \u00a365 million transfer record to sign Haaland, but he would be the perfect replacement for club legend Sergio Aguero<\/a>, who is leaving at the end of the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n
