Gameweek 29 has only four matches scheduled. So, it is probably best to use your transfers to bring players from those matches in. One could also roll the transfer this week and make two the next to profit from team news ahead of that curtailed gameweek.<\/p>\n
Emiliano Mart\u00ednez<\/a> has kept 14 clean sheets this season. He has the opportunity to keep another this Friday against Newcastle United<\/a>. Martinez remains the best long-term goalkeeper option in the game.<\/p>\n Nick Pope<\/a> has a tough match this week. However, Everton<\/a>‘s home form is really poor which should provide enough encouragement for Burnley<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sam Johnstone<\/a> and Vicente Guaita<\/a> could do well this week also.<\/p>\n Jo\u00e3o Cancelo<\/a>,\u00a0John Stones<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0R\u00faben Dias<\/a> are all solid picks. However, all of them are rotation risks with Aymeric Laporte<\/a>, Oleksandr Zinchenko<\/a> and Kyle Walker<\/a> also in the mix.<\/p>\n One should consider Aston Villa<\/a> defenders. Matt Targett<\/a> and Ezri Konsa<\/a> are good options.<\/p>\n Chelsea<\/a> have kept three clean sheets in a row and have been very solid under Thomas Tuchel. However, the defenders are all rotation risks. If one has a good option on the bench to cover for when he goes missing, Marcos Alonso<\/a> could be a great differential. He is very attacking-minded and could go big in one of the upcoming matches.<\/p>\n It is quite likely that the Crystal Palace versus <\/a>West Bromwich Albion<\/a> match will end goalless. The defenders can be considered with some nice and cheap options around like Joel Ward<\/a>, Conor Townsend<\/a> and Ainsley Maitland-Niles<\/a>. In fact, Maitland-Niles is playing in midfield as well which should offer him to produce attacking returns also.<\/p>\n Manchester United<\/a> face the high-flying Hammers this weekend in a crucial fixture for the battle to cement a place in the top four. It will be a very tough fixture for the Red Devils. However, Bruno Fernandes<\/a> can deliver in any match and against anyone as he proved last week. Just one penalty can propel him to a double-digit score.<\/p>\n Gareth Bale<\/a>\u00a0is in sensational form. In fact, he is the most in-form player at the moment. It has been a long time since Bale faced Arsenal<\/a> in the Premier League but in his last two matches against them,\u00a0he scored twice<\/a>. One has to observe how many minutes he gets on Thursday in the Europa League as Mourinho has mentioned he needs to manage Bale’s minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kevin De Bruyne<\/a> should be considered for the armband as well. With De Bruyne, a big score is possible in any game as he proved on Wednesday night but it may not be easy against a highly competitive Fulham<\/a> side. There is a worry that he might be rested though.<\/p>\n Ilkay G\u00fcndogan\u2019s superb form<\/a> deteriorated somewhat recently but his goal against Southampton<\/a> might see him return to that blistering form he enjoyed a few weeks back. If Pep Guardiola starts him, a big score against Fulham is not out of the question.<\/p>\n Riyad Mahrez<\/a> has produced attacking returns in five out of the last six matches with an impressive total of 53 points. However, that nagging feeling remains in every FPL manager’s mind that as soon as he picks Mahrez, Guardiola will bench him.<\/p>\n James Ward-Prowse<\/a> had a great double gameweek 27 with two goals in two matches. He is always deadly with set pieces and the Saints need points to avoid getting sucked into the relegation battle.<\/p>\n Mason Mount<\/a> has been a consistent points generator this season and is a solid long-term option.<\/p>\n In recent weeks, Jamie Vardy<\/a> has looked quite sluggish. His recent injury problems and his age seem to have slowed him down somewhat. Kelechi Iheanacho<\/a> on the other hand has impressed with two goals in the last two matches. One might take a chance on him against rock bottom Sheffield United<\/a> this Sunday.<\/p>\n Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>\u00a0face Arsenal in the North London Derby this Sunday.\u00a0Harry Kane<\/a>\u00a0loves this fixture, scoring 11 goals in 12 matches against the Gunners in the Premier League. Besides, Kane is in great form as well. He scored a couple of goals in the last match with two assists as well against\u00a0Crystal Palace. It is unlikely to be an easy game for Spurs but one has to fancy Kane to get an attacking return in this game.<\/p>\n Patrick Bamford<\/a> will look to score against his old club this week.
