It was another busy week for Luton Town, with the club completely inundated with transfer deadline day dealings in the early part of the week, before a return to Kenilworth Road to face a declining Huddersfield Town.<\/p>\n
Whether the Hatters were going to do any business on deadline day remained the question on every Luton fans’ lips as the window neared its conclusion. A move for long-term target and Swindon Town midfielder Scott Twine<\/a> looked less likely as the day wore on before Elliot Lee<\/a> secured a loan move to Oxford United.<\/a><\/p>\n With around seven hours left of the window, rumours emerged about the possible signing of West Bromwich Albion<\/a> winger Kyle Edwards<\/a>. However, the move failed to materialise into a done deal with Luton manager Nathan Jones<\/a> admitting that finances played a major part<\/a> in deciding against his signing.<\/p>\n Not long after the Edwards rumours, Tom Ince<\/a> became heavily-linked with a move to Luton, and the former Premier League winger eventually signed for the Hatters<\/a> on a season-long loan from their Championship counterparts, Stoke City<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Bedfordshire club then secured their second signing of the day past the 11pm deadline, announcing the arrival of Walsall striker<\/a> Elijah Adebayo<\/a> for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old’s arrival concluded a busy night’s work from a Luton perspective, with both players joining in with training the following day<\/p>\n Friday saw the Hatters launch their official TikTok account<\/a> – an exciting opportunity for the media team at Luton Town to create engaging content to develop and build the club’s fanbase with a younger audience in mind.<\/p>\n And although the initial tweet that announced the launch was met by some very critical responses, the majority seemed in favour of branching out onto the world’s fastest rising social media platform worldwide.<\/p>\n By being on TikTok the club will certainly see a rise in brand exposure, and they will be appealing to a new audience in the younger generation who have contributed to making the platform the most in-demand application in the world right now.<\/p>\n Going into Saturday’s game against Huddersfield Town,<\/a> the general consensus amongst Luton fans was that it was a perfect opportunity to gain some much-needed distance from the relegation zone.<\/p>\n And, it seemed that they were on their way to doing just that when James Collins<\/a> tapped home after just 11 minutes. From then on, Luton continued to look the more dangerous side, and they would have been slightly disappointed to have gone into the break just one goal to the good.<\/p>\n However, the Terriers grew back into the game in the second half, placing even more importance of a second goal.
