Harry Kane Makes a Return Against West Bromwich Albion<\/h2>\n

Tottenham Struggled With Harry Kane Absent<\/h3>\n

Harry Kane’s injury has coincided with another dip in form for Spurs<\/a>, and it now seems bizarre that the North London club led the way just two months ago.<\/p>\n

The England international suffered an ankle injury in Tottenham’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool<\/a> in late January, with his side going on to lose the two matches since being ruled out, with defeats against Brighton & Hove Albion<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a> without scoring a goal.<\/p>\n

But, it is no real surprise that Spurs are having difficulties in his absence, with Kane netting 12 goals and assisting a further 11 in 19 Premier League games this season. The forward has become as integral as a provider this season as he has scoring goals, and with the Englishman contributing more goals than any other Premier League player this campaign, he has become as important as ever.<\/p>\n

Spurs Have Missed a Creative Spark With Key Players Side-Lined<\/h3>\n

With Kane out of the side, it has certainly highlighted Tottenham’s recent inability to create goal-scoring opportunities, and once again, that comes as no surprise, with both Dele Alli<\/a> and Giovani Lo Celso<\/a> still side-lined too.<\/p>\n

In fact, their newfound struggle to create chances saw the club show late interest in former player Christian Eriksen<\/a> in the January transfer window, but that failed to materialise into a done deal.<\/a><\/p>\n

The onus has since been put on Heung min-Son, who has 12 goals and six assists to his name this season, but the South Korean international has found it difficult to star in a relatively makeshift forward line.<\/p>\n

The importance of Kane has never been higher for Spurs, and his presence will certainly boost Jose Mourinho’s side against West Brom.<\/p>\n
