As yet another twist in the ever-changing Paul Pogba<\/a> tale, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a> recently gave Manchester United<\/a> fans hope of a new contract for the Frenchman.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian manager described<\/a> his conversations with Pogba as an “open dialogue”, and fans will hope that he pens a new deal after his brilliant recent form for the Red Devils<\/p>\n

Latest Twist in Paul Pogba Tale as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Gives New Contract Hope<\/h2>\n

Good Recent Form<\/h3>\n

Paul Pogba has looked fantastic in a Manchester United<\/a> shirt of late.<\/p>\n

He has been the difference-maker in many of United’s tight games, providing a moment of brilliance for his team to take home all three points. Pogba has always been capable of this, but consistency has provided a hindrance for the former Juventus<\/a> man.<\/p>\n

Now, though, it seems as though he may have traversed this problem, providing the Manchester side with an immense amount of quality in his best spell yet for the club.<\/p>\n

Pogba has scored the winning goal for United in two of his last five appearances, against Burnley<\/a> and Fulham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are few central midfielders in the world who have talent that matches that of the 27-year-old, and the Red Devils will, no doubt, be willing to splash the cash on a new contract, should he opt to stay.<\/p>\n

Solskjaer’s Comments<\/h3>\n

The United manager recently suggested that a fresh contract was still very much on the table.<\/p>\n

“We’ve got a good open dialogue with Paul so what we talk about and how we see that situation remains between us,” the Norwegian manager said.<\/p>\n

“I’m just happy he’s focused and playing really well. He’s happy within himself and that’s important. You can see Paul enjoying football himself with a red shirt on.<\/p>\n

“Our conversations remain private, of course. But for example, Paul is a Manchester United player through and through. He’s been here in two spells. He came as a kid, he’s learned about the history of the club, the passion of the club.<\/p>\n

“He wants to do the best for United when he’s here and I think we’ve seen that \u2013 that he really cares for his team and he’s trying to be as successful as everyone else.”<\/p>\n

This comes after the Frenchman’s agent Mino Raiola made controversial comments <\/a>on his future with the club in early December: “I can say it\u2019s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,” Raiola declared.<\/p>\n

Now, though, there seems to be much more hope that Pogba could ink a new deal and extend his stay at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n
