Plymouth Argyle<\/a> have confirmed that manager Ryan Lowe has signed a new three-year deal, keeping him with the Pilgrims until 2024.<\/p>\n

Ryan Lowe to Remain With Plymouth Argyle Until 2024<\/h2>\n

Highly Regarded Manager<\/h3>\n

Lowe is regarded as one of the best ‘up and coming’ managers in the EFL after winning back-to-back promotions from League Two with Bury and Plymouth retrospectively.<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old’s success at both clubs has caught the eye of those higher up the divisions. He was linked<\/a> with the vacant job at Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the season, although nothing ever materialised.<\/p>\n

As a result, Lowe has continued to impress at Home Park. He has won 37 of his 79 games in charge of Argyle, with a win rate of just over 46%. 14 of those wins have come this season, with the club enjoy an impressive campaign in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Lowe’s attacking style has been one of the several traits highlighted by fans. When speaking to The Guardian,<\/a> the 42-year-old said his style has been influenced by Jurgen Klopp, as he looks to press high and install a win at all costs mentality.<\/p>\n

What Was Said?<\/h3>\n

Andrew Parkinson, Argyle’s Chief Executive, said to the official Plymouth Argyle website<\/a> said that Lowe and his assistant Steven Schumacher, who has also signed a new deal, have personalities that the club wish to associate with.<\/p>\n

He said: “We are delighted to be able to agree contract extensions for Ryan and Steven.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir personal qualities align with those we wish to be associated with the club, and they both hold ambition that matches our own.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo achieve promotion in their first season was a tremendous achievement, while their emphasis on playing an attractive brand of football and developing our Academy graduates is very exciting for everyone associated with the club.”<\/p>\n

Lowe added: “I am delighted to have signed a long-term contract with Plymouth Argyle, and I\u2019m excited to continue the project we\u2019ve started together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe fit well together – this is an ambitious club, and I am an ambitious manager. I would like to thank Andrew Parkinson, the Board of Directors and Simon Hallett for making it happen.<\/p>\n
