Port Vale have completed the loan signing of Mustapha Olangunja from Huddersfield Town<\/a>, in a deal that runs until the end of the season \u2013 subject to EFL and FA clearance.<\/p>\n

Rose Through the Youth Ranks at Huddersfield Town<\/h3>\n

The centre-back heads to Staffordshire after recently making his senior debut for the Terriers in the Emirates FA Cup third-round defeat to Plymouth Argyle on January 9.<\/p>\n

Olangunja his risen through the ranks at Huddersfield<\/a> after playing in every game for the Terriers U17 side, before progressing through to the U19 squad and B team in 2019\/20.<\/p>\n

Prior to his move to West Yorkshire, the defender London-born defender has spent time with both the XYZ Academy and Kent Football United.<\/p>\n

He has also been out on loan at both Tadcaster Albion and at Welling during the early part of his career.<\/p>\n

Huddersfield academy manager Emyr Humphreys believes the defender will plenty from the experience and told htafc.com<\/a>: \u201cMustapha deserves this chance and it\u2019ll be a good opportunity for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter experiencing men\u2019s football at Tadcaster and Welling, this will be a great step for his development and one he will certainly learn a lot from.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be a really good test for Mustapha and I\u2019m sure he\u2019ll relish it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Port Vale in Mid-Table<\/h3>\n

The Valiants occupy a mid-table position in League Two, and sit 15th\u00a0with 32 points from their 27 games to date \u2013 eight adrift of Newport County in the play-off places.<\/p>\n

They bounced back from back-to-back defeats against Walsall and Scunthorpe United with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Southend United on January 30.<\/p>\n

Their next game sees Vale men travel to Prenton Park to face fifth-place Tranmere Rovers, and head into the match without a permanent manager after parting ways with John Askey on January 4.<\/p>\n

First-team coach and former Manchester United<\/a> and Leeds United<\/a> midfielder, Danny Pugh<\/a>, is currently in charge on an interim basis.<\/p>\n
