Quincy Promes<\/a> is set to leave Ajax<\/a>, joining Spartak Moscow on loan, with Sevilla<\/a>‘s Oussama Idrissi<\/a> to replace<\/a> the Dutchman, according to Mike Verwij<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Quincy Promes Set to Leave Ajax on Loan With Oussama Idrissi to Replace Him<\/h2>\n

Promes Not Particularly Impressive For Ajax<\/h3>\n

Promes has been a regular in the Ajax<\/a> team this season. The 29-year-old has ten starts in the Eredivisie<\/a>, with nine substitute appearances also to his name. In that time, though, he has only managed to net six times, and has failed to assist a single goal so far.<\/p>\n

Promes’ overall performances have been average. He has looked poorer when playing in wider roles on the left, but, in playing centrally, he has seemed far more comfortable.<\/p>\n

Despite this, the Dutchman’s versatility is clearly a strength, not only possessing the ability to play all across the front line, but also being comfortable in attacking midfield and a little further back the middle of the park. He has also shown in the past that he is capable of filling in at left-back, although this is not his strongest position.<\/p>\n

Promes was also involved in a murder investigation<\/a> recently, even being arrested, with the police suspicious that he was involved. That has not since amounted to anything, and he was released within days of his arrest.<\/p>\n

He is now set to join Spartak Moscow on loan. The deal includes an option to buy for the Russian club, but this is not an obligation.<\/p>\n

Idrissi Struggling for Game-Time<\/h3>\n

24-year-old Idrissi has not found a regular spot in the Sevilla<\/a> starting lineup since his move from AZ Alkmaar<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n

He has also struggled to perform when given chances either as a starter or from the bench, although he has only played from the outset on two occasions, both in the Champions Leagu<\/a>e.<\/p>\n

The Moroccan will return to the Netherlands, this time to Ajax, and will try to fill the hole left by Promes. And, like the deal for the Dutch attacker, Idrissi’s will include an option to buy.<\/p>\n
