Dunn was Grayson’s assistant at Blackpool prior to the former Sunderland and Leeds United manager being dismissed. Dunn took over as caretaker manager for four games. Both men will be hoping for a happier time at Fleetwood following what was only a short time together at Blackpool. Grayson was sacked just a month after Dunn became assistant coach.

Dunn has been involved in the coaching and managerial side of the game on and off since 2015 when he took over at Oldham Athletic. However, he was dismissed after just 20 games and three wins. He returned to Blackburn Rovers, the club he had spent the majority of his career at. Until leaving in 2018 he would hold several coaching roles at Ewood Park. In January 2020, he returned to the game at Blackpool before taking up his second managerial position at Barrow.

Main Photo
Embed from Getty Images

Following the arrival of Simon Grayson as manager, David Dunn Joins Fleetwood as their new assistant head coach

[32,34,30
5861,168,90,244,1220,136
post-581760","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-league-football","category-league12","category-news","tag-david-dunn","tag-efl","tag-fifa","tag-fleetwood-town","tag-simon-grayson","tag-world-football
["GET
