Reading<\/a> goalkeeper Jokull Andresson<\/a> has rejoined Exeter City<\/a> on loan for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n

Andresson made nine appearances earlier this season for the Grecians on an emergency loan deal.<\/p>\n

He will now spend the remainder of the season at St James’ Park, arriving as Exeter’s second signing<\/a> in this transfer window<\/p>\n

Andresson Returns for a Second Spell<\/h3>\n

The Icelandic goalkeeper is no stranger to the Devon side. He spent some of this campaign on loan at the club when Exeter had both senior goalkeepers missing through injury.<\/p>\n

Andresson returns on a deal until the end of the season, replacing Lewis Ward who left for Portsmouth<\/a> yesterday. He will compete with Jonny Maxted for the number spot in the Grecians side.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Exeter City website<\/a> about Andresson\u2019s return, manager Matt Taylor said: \u201cWe are absolutely delighted to welcome J\u00f6kull back to the club and he is a player we know well.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe tried to get him earlier in the month but we were made to wait. He effected us positively the first time round and it’s absolutely great that he’s back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andresson is straight into the squad for tomorrow\u2019s game against promotion rivals Carlisle United.<\/p>\n

Andresson Thrilled to be Back<\/h3>\n

Speaking about his return<\/a>, Andresson said: \u201cIt feels great to be back. It\u2019s the club that started off my professional career and it\u2019s an honour to be back. The club, staff, everyone has done so much for me so it\u2019s great to return.<\/p>\n

\u201cTuesday night was crazy, such a small world. The two games I get with Morecambe one had to be Exeter at St James Park. It was lovely to see everyone. I promise you it was nothing personal \u2013 all business!<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a long season ahead. Personally, I\u2019ve got to make sure I\u2019m focussed now. I\u2019m eager to go, I can\u2019t wait to get in and restart the season with Exeter.\u201d<\/p>\n
