Newcastle United<\/a> are set to add the experience Graeme Jones to the current coaching staff, according to the Telegraph\u2019s Luke Edwards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steve Bruce has been looking to add another body to his coaching team with much of his backroom staff feeling the affect of the coronavirus outbreak at the club in December.<\/a><\/p>\n

Bruce has turned to the experienced Jones who has been part of Jason Tindall\u2019s coaching staff at Bournemouth<\/a> since early September.<\/p>\n

Graeme Jones to Join Coaching Staff at Newcastle United<\/h2>\n

The vastly experienced Jones will be returning to a part of the country he knows well. Jones is from the North East and is set to link up with Steve Bruce as he looks to halt Newcastle\u2019s alarming slump of form.<\/p>\n

The Magpies are winless in the Premier League since beating West Bromwich Albion<\/a> in early December. Its eight league games and counting for Bruce who is coming under increasing pressure.<\/a><\/p>\n

Jones Brings Plenty of Experience Having Coached At Several Clubs<\/h3>\n

Jones boasts an impressive CV having worked at some top clubs during his time. He is best known for being Roberto Martinez\u2019s right hand man. Jones has been Martinez\u2019s assistant at Swansea City<\/a>, Wigan Athletic<\/a>, Everton<\/a> and the Belgian national side. His time with Martinez has brought huge success including an FA Cup victory and consistent exciting, attacking football.<\/p>\n

He left his role with Belgium in 2018 to join Darren Moore\u2019s coaching staff at West Bromwich Albion. Jones than got his break as a number one when he took charge of Luton Town<\/a> in May 2019. However, he lasted eleven months in the role after enduring a difficult spell with the newly promoted club.<\/p>\n

Jones has been working at Bournemouth since early September. He was appointed by new Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall having had an extra space in the coaching staff free following Eddie Howe\u2019s exit.<\/p>\n

He has offered his experience to Tindall who is venturing into a number one role for the first time. His brief spell on the south coast appears to be coming to an end as he gears up for another relegation battle in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
