Chelsea<\/a> have had a shortlist of potential new managers to replace Frank Lampard for some time now, and Christian Falk claims<\/a> that former Juventus<\/a> boss Massimiliano Allegri is no longer on that list.<\/p>\n

Instead, the Blues want Thomas Tuchel or Ralf Rangnick to be next in charge at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Blues Contemplating Sacking Frank Lampard<\/h3>\n

The Blues have been contemplating whether or not to bin current manager Frank Lampard<\/a> for the last few weeks. The former midfielder started his managerial career at Stamford Bridge well, but his side have dropped off and are now adrift of most of their rivals in the league.<\/p>\n

Roman Abramovich is keen to not see his side struggle for much longer and it\u2019s been reported that the Chelsea boss might not have much time left in charge<\/a> at the club.<\/p>\n

However, reports today have claimed they will try and keep Frank Lampard at the club until the end of the season – a decision that could be pivotal for the side.<\/p>\n

Main Targets Are Tuchel and Rangnick<\/h3>\n

Also, the Blues already are believed to have a shortlist of potential replacements at Stamford Bridge for Lampard. The list, at one point, was believed to include the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Ralph Hassenhuttl and Massimiliano Allegri.<\/p>\n

However, these reports today are also claiming that Allegri is no longer a candidate for the job. Instead, Chelsea are keen to make Thomas Tuchel, the former Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> boss, their next manager.<\/p>\n

If they can\u2019t land Tuchel, they\u2019ll instead turn to Ralf Rangnick – and not Allegri or any of the other candidates.<\/p>\n

If they could land Tuchel, it would be an astute appointment for the Premier League side.<\/p>\n

But, the Blues fans might have to put up with Lampard in charge for a little longer with the news that they are going to try and only replace the former player at the end of the current Premier League season.<\/p>\n
