Bournemouth<\/a> could be set to let Nnamdi Ofoborh<\/a> leave the club this transfer window, with Charlton Athletic keen to sign him according to the Daily Echo.<\/a><\/p>\n

Nnamdi Ofoborh Wanted by Charlton Athletic<\/h2>\n

Played for the Youth Side at Bournemouth<\/h3>\n

The midfielder has come up through the ranks with the Cherries and has featured three times for the club in the league this season. He is still only young at 21-years old but, with the club desperate to seal promotion back to the Premier League,<\/a> there may not be room for him in their squad.<\/p>\n

Ofoborh has played for Wycombe Wanderers<\/a> on loan when they were in League One<\/a> and he was solid for them, featuring 18 times in the league as they were promoted to the second tier.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s still a young player and has plenty of potential but it could be realised elsewhere, with Charlton willing to not only sign him but give him the first-team action he needs to realise that potential.<\/p>\n

Charlton Looking to Improve Squad for Promotion Push<\/h3>\n

Having proven he can cut it in the league, the Addicks could soon swoop for the player as they look to strengthen their team and their promotion push.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth boss Jason Tindall has also spoken about the move, telling the Echo<\/a>: \u201cHe\u2019s certainly a player we like and we want to keep. It then becomes the player\u2019s decision whether he wants to stay at the football club or not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nnamdi Ofoborh to Play More Regularly if He Joins Charlton Athletic<\/h3>\n

Whether the player wants to stay is another matter – he is out of contract in the summer and he may decide to leave the club in pursuit of more regular first-team football.<\/p>\n

Leaving Bournemouth this transfer window would mean he gets that and the Cherries would also be able to get a fee for him rather than letting him leave for nothing.<\/p>\n

Ofoborh has also played for Nigeria\u2019s U20 side – another bit of experience that could benefit Charlton if they were to sign him during this window.<\/p>\n
