Union Berlin<\/a> are looking to loan Bayern Munich<\/a> forward Leon Dajaku<\/a>, according to Bild<\/a>. The 19-year-old has impressed for Bayern Munich II.<\/p>\n

Union Berlin Interested in Signing Leon Dajaku on Loan<\/h2>\n

Bayern Looking to Offload the Forward<\/h3>\n

With three goals and one assist from 14 3.Liga appearances this season, forward Leon Dajaku has emerged as a transfer target for Union Berlin.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old, who plays as a left-winger but can also play centrally and on the right, joined the Bavarian club last season from Stuttgart for \u00a31.35 million and signed a four-year deal.<\/p>\n

Now though, the club are looking to get Dajaku some competitive game time. The Bundesliga champions are unable to provide that for the promising youngster and Berlin has emerged as a potential destination.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Union appear unlikely to get targets Sven Michel or Serdar Dursun, so have switched their attention to the Bayern man. The deal would initially be a loan deal, but Sport1 reporter Florian Plettenberg<\/a> has stated that Bayern won’t stand in the youngsters was if he wishes to pursue a permanent switch.<\/p>\n

Union Berlin Injury Worries<\/h3>\n

The move would make sense for both parties. Union are without forwards Max Kruse<\/a> and Joel Pohjanpalo<\/a> through injury, with the former scoring six times and adding five assists from just ten Bundesliga games since his summer arrival.<\/p>\n

Although Liverpool<\/a> loanee Taiwo Awoniyi has started to find the net with five goals in his last eight games, a recall from the Premier League champions could be activated, leaving Urs Fischer’s<\/a> side short in attack.<\/p>\n

Dajuku Attracting Interest From Elsewhere Across Europe<\/h3>\n

Further reports<\/a> suggest that Dajuku has attracted interest from other European clubs. AC Milan, K\u00f6ln and Nice are all said to be keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.<\/p>\n

Union may have a battle on their hands to sign the youngster but a stay in Germany may be favourable for the Germany U18 international.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
