Getafe<\/a> have secured<\/a> Japanese international Takefusa Kubo<\/a> on loan from Real Madrid<\/a> until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

Takefusa Kubo Looking for Game Time<\/h3>\n

The Japanese international has played 11 times for his country and is a regular in the side. However, his La Liga<\/a> career has stalled this season.<\/p>\n

The winger originally signed for Villarreal<\/a> at the start of the season. He was looking to build on his brilliant campaign last season with Real Mallorca where he played in 35 games, scoring four goals and creating four assists.<\/p>\n

His form made him one of La Liga’s standout players and his creativity and trickery lit up La Liga. It was to be his breakout season.<\/p>\n

However, this season has been disjointed and disappointing. He had been in and out of the Villarreal side managed by Unai Emery – featuring just 13 times and starting just twice across the Spanish Primera League and the Europa Liga.<\/a><\/p>\n

Coveted by La Liga Giants<\/h3>\n

The 19-year-old is a former Barcelona<\/a> youth product and is currently on the books of arch-rivals Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

This latest spell with Getafe will be the third different Spanish side he has played for on loan.<\/p>\n

Therefore he will be looking for more consistency in this latest opportunity. He will be closer to the home of his parent club in the south of Madrid.<\/p>\n

The Profile of Takufusa Kubo<\/h3>\n

Kubo is a player who likes to feature in teams with a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 formation. His position is playing as a winger, predominantly on the right. Above all, he loves to cut in and create danger with his wand of a left foot.<\/p>\n

When on form, Kubo is a great dribbler who drives forward at will. He copes very well under pressure and displays very good technique.<\/p>\n

While at Real Mallorca, eight out of ten most-watched matches in La Liga that were televised in Japan involved the Islanders of Mallorca; proof that he has a star presence in his native country.<\/p>\n

Getafe Next Stop for Kubo<\/h3>\n

Getafe have agreed to share the original loan<\/a> fee with Villarreal of \u20ac2.3 million euros and assume his basic salary until the end of the season.<\/p>\n

On the field, he will look to add an attacking spark to a Getafe side who have found the going difficult this season. The team are currently in 16th position and are just one point above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

Their bad season is due mainly to the goal drought of leading striker Jamie Mata<\/a> and the loss of their other main striker Jorge Molina<\/a>, who was sold to Granada.<\/p>\n

After a sparkling campaign two seasons ago, finishing in fifth place, last season, the side managed by Pepe Bordalas enjoyed their European adventure, beating Ajax<\/a> along the way in the Europa League and finished eighth in the Spanish League.<\/p>\n
