Glenn Murray<\/a>‘s current loan spell at Watford<\/a> is not working out; reportedly he is to be recalled by Brighton & Hove Albion<\/a> before joining Queens Park Rangers on loan.<\/p>\n

REPORT: Glenn Murray Poised for Queens Park Rangers Loan<\/h2>\n

Glenn Murray to Use His Experience to Lift QPR<\/h3>\n

According to Andy Naylor of The Athletic<\/a> (07\/01), Brighton are happy for the deals to go ahead with one key condition; they must not lose on the financial deal they had in place with Watford to pay Murray’s wages.<\/p>\n

Brighton and QPR would benefit from an incoming veteran striker, with both clubs fighting to stave off relegation.<\/p>\n

However, The Athletic understands that Murray’s career at Brighton is over.<\/p>\n

Instead, it is QPR who will benefit from the 37-year-old’s wealth of experience.<\/p>\n

Murray has scored 202 goals in 553 career appearances, with 46 assists.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, QPR sit 20th in the Championship having scored only 20 goals in 22 matches.<\/p>\n

The Hoops teeter two points off the relegation zone having not won any of their last five league matches.<\/p>\n

Watford Spell Unsuccessful<\/h3>\n

Murray has made only one start in the Championship for Watford thus far.<\/p>\n

He has featured another four times off the bench for the Hornets.<\/p>\n

It is not what the striker wanted, having arrived at the club ready for more minutes.<\/p>\n

When he first arrived at Watford he said<\/a>: \u201cIt is a case of me wanting to come out and play as much football while I still can and score goals, which is what I love doing, so I want that feeling back”.<\/p>\n

Watford have an array of attacking options including Joao Pedro<\/a>, Andre Gray<\/a>, Stipe Perica<\/a> and Troy Deeney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

QPR’s Strikeforce Bolstered<\/h3>\n

With the addition of Glenn Murray, QPR will add more firepower to their squad.<\/p>\n

Their joint top scorers are striker Lyndon Dykes<\/a> and attacking midfielder Ilias Chair<\/a> with five goals each.<\/p>\n

The next highest scoring out-and-out striker is Macauley Bonne<\/a>. The 25-year-old has scored two goals in 19 appearances.<\/p>\n

A shrewd move could see QPR snap up Murray on loan, giving the player minutes and in return, the Hoops may get some important goals out of the experienced goalscorer.<\/p>\n
