Sean is one of the things that led us to want to do this.<\/p>\n<div class=\"markup sc-AnqlK eCIdwg\">\n<p>\u201dIt\u2019s really important for people to realise that, and hopefully I have expressed that to him directly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"markup sc-AnqlK eCIdwg\">\n<p>\u201cLongevity and consistency and the good fortune of having someone who is a strong and capable leader like he is, is a blessing for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"markup sc-AnqlK eCIdwg\">\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not just being a magician, that\u2019s not it, a magician does it once in a while. There\u2019s consistency here that we really, really like.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dyche&#8217;s contract runs until 2022. His current deal is worth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/sport\/football\/premier-league\/burnley-fc-news-sean-dyche-aaron-lennon-transfer-news-a8174646.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u00a370,000<\/a> a week.<\/p>\n<h3>Work to be Done<\/h3>\n<p>Burnley sit 16th in the Premier League, on 16 points, five points above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n<p>The buffer is large enough for now, but Burnley will no doubt want to move up the table and towards safety.<\/p>\n<p>Dyche is well-versed in taking Burnley into the top flight, trying to keep them there, and then having to bring them back to their rightful place in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>But since the 2016\/7 season, the Clarets have kept themselves afloat.<\/p>\n<p>Last season they finished a respectable 10th.<\/p>\n<p>There is still, then, some work to do for Dyche&#8217;s side to climb the table.<\/p>\n<h3>Transfers<\/h3>\n<p>Pace is seemingly ready to back his sentiments for Dyche with transfer funds.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cHe does have some things he\u2019s looking at. We\u2019re supportive of what he\u2019s looking at.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he wants to go forward on the things he wants to do we\u2019ll be there and support what he needs to have happen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe prudence here is being able to move swiftly and support what needs to be done.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would expect we\u2019d be thoughtful in the process because that\u2019s what Sean has always done.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will be very supportive of making sure he can achieve his goals.
