Charlton have been short on goals in the forward areas and they will be hoping Schwartz is the main to change that.<\/p>\n<h2>Charlton Athletic Sign Striker Ronnie Schwartz on a Permanent Deal From FC Midtjylland<\/h2>\n<h3>Schwartz Happy to Join the Addicks<\/h3>\n<p>Schwartz has been a proven goal scorer wherever he has played. He has 119 goals in 287 career appearances to date. He has finished top scorer of a league in his last two seasons. He helped Silkeborg secure promotion to the Danish Superliga before moving to FC Midtjylland and helping them secure the Superliga title.<\/p>\n<p>He has plenty of pedigree but joins a Charlton side battling for promotion in <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/?s=league+one\" target=\"_self\">League One<\/a>. The Addicks sit seventh, outside the play-off places on goal difference. They are five points off the automatic promotion places.<\/p>\n<p>Schwartz needs Home Office approval under the EU Settlement Scheme. Charlton are confident he will receive that in time to face <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/?s=accrington+stanley\" target=\"_self\">Accrington Stanley<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cafc.co.uk\/news\/view\/5ff36a3673a68\/done-deal-the-addicks-complete-the-signing-of-striker-ronnie-schwartz\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Speaking to the club\u2019s website<\/a> about his move, Schwartz said: \u201cIt is a really good feeling to be here, to be a part of this massive club with a huge history.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t wait to play my first game at The Valley, unfortunately, it will be without fans, but it is a beautiful stadium and I am happy to be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Lee Bowyer Pleased With New Addition<\/h3>\n<p>Manager Lee Bowyer added: \u201cHis finishing is very good, I witnessed it first hand in training today. To see him finishing the way he does and know that he is going to improve is a big plus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStrikers tend to win you games, once we create chances he is a fox in the box. His work rate is good, his movement is good and he\u2019s very clever. He\u2019s got all the experience, so it\u2019s a great signing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Owner Thomas Sandgaard Delighted to Bring in Danish Compatriot Ronnie Schwartz<\/h3>\n<p>Charlton\u2019s new owner has always made his views clear and is determined to back Lee Bowyer to get Charlton back to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/?s=championship\" target=\"_self\">Championship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the club\u2019s new signing, Sandgaard said: \u201cI am very happy to get the signing of Ronnie completed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were looking to bring in a striker that fitted in with our planning and we\u2019re pleased we have been able to do that. Ronnie is a proven goalscorer, with a great goalscoring record.
