While Chelsea<\/a> have only won one out of their last five matches, manager Frank Lampard<\/a> is not going anywhere. According to Fabrizio Romano<\/a>, the board have no thought of replacing Lampard despite the team’s current form.<\/p>\n

Chelsea Have Full Trust in Frank Lampard<\/h2>\n

In what is always the busiest month of the English football calendar, results have taken a turn for the worse for Frank Lampard and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

They opened the month with an impressive victory over Leeds United<\/a>, but things went downhill from there. Back-to-back losses to Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> and Everton<\/a> followed, before a win over West Ham United<\/a> provided some hope. However, the Blues then lost humiliatingly to rivals Arsenal<\/a> and recently drew against Aston Villa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After such a promising run of form in November, Chelsea are now languishing in 6th, and Lampard needs to turn it around. While it’s not all on him, he is certainly partially responsible and needs to do his part.<\/p>\n

Tactics of Chelsea Manager Come Under Fire<\/h3>\n

In the past five games, barring the one win, Chelsea have looked unimaginative and toothless. They’ve shown no fight whatsoever, and star players have had well-documented struggles.<\/p>\n

Timo Werner<\/a> and Kai Havertz<\/a> have not played well, and in Hakim Ziyech<\/a>‘s absence, the club has very little firepower at the moment. However, some fans feel that Lampard is not getting the best out of his players.<\/p>\n

Much of his tactics in the last few games involved getting the ball out wide for Ben Chilwell<\/a> or Reece James<\/a> to cross, with very little interplay through the middle. While every good team needs its good crossers the link-up play between the forwards is critical as well.<\/p>\n

With Callum Hudson-Odoi<\/a> and Christian Pulisic<\/a> seemingly back to full fitness, and Ziyech soon to follow, Lampard has no more excuses with injuries. And since the next match against Manchester City<\/a> may well be canceled, the Blues could have an extended break before their next match.<\/p>\n

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is rightly sticking by his manager, but it’s time for Frank Lampard to step up and show he’s part of the solution, not part of the problem.<\/p>\n
