After slowly, but surely, falling behind in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order, Liverpool<\/a> are prepared to listen to offers for Divock Orgi<\/a> with Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> among the clubs interested, according to The Athletic.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The Midlands club previously tried to sign the Belgian in 2018 and will reportedly reignite their interest in January with Raul Jimenez<\/a> still recovering from surgery on a fractured skull.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Should they decide to pursue Origi’s signature, Wolverhampton Wanderers may have to pay up to \u00a320 million to Liverpool, who will not stand in the 25-year-old’s age should he wish to leave.<\/span><\/p>\n

Time up for Origi at Liverpool<\/span><\/h3>\n

Divock Origi’s time at Liverpool has been full of the highest of highs, yet some of the lowest lows- from an injury which almost finished his time at Anfield to that corner taken quickly against Barcelona.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At one point, following a failed loan move at Wolfsburg, it looked as though Origi’s time at Liverpool was up before the last gasp and most unexpected winner in the Merseyside Derby to springboard his Anfield life from potential exit to super-sub.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With the Champions League<\/a> now won, and the Belgian seemingly all-out of match-winning goals, his time at Liverpool looks set to end after falling down the pecking order to the point where a place off the bench is not even guaranteed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fact is, after just seven appearances this season, Divock Origi looks like a striker in desperate need of a change of scenery, something that Wolverhampton Wanderers could well provide.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wolverhampton Wanderers the Perfect Match for Origi<\/span><\/h3>\n

With Raul Jimenez still injured, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Divock Origi have the potential to solve each other’s problems.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuno Esperito Santo could put an end to Origi’s lack of game time. Meanwhile, Origi, at his best, would provide Santo with the goals in the absence of Jimenez.<\/span><\/p>\n
