The five British teams remaining in the Europa League have discovered their opponents for the round of 32. The Europa League draw took place this afternoon following the Champions League round of 16<\/a> draw.<\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>, who qualified as group winners, were the first seeded team to be drawn and earned themselves a trip to Austria to face first-time qualifiers Wolfsberger. Jose Mourinho’s side faced Austrian opposition in the group stage in the form of LASK and also came up against Royal Antwerp and Ludogorets.<\/p>\n

Arsenal<\/a> face a tough two-legged tie against Portuguese side Benfica. Jorge Jesus’ side finished second in Group D but were unbeaten in their six group matches and were the top scorers by some distance. The Gunners, meanwhile, won all six of their matches in a group containing Molde, Rapid Vienna and Dundalk.<\/p>\n

Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City\u00a0<\/a>will face a tricky tie against Slavia Prague in their round of 32 match. The Czech side came second behind Group C winners Bayer Leverkusen but held a comfortable points gap between themselves and the bottom sides, Hapoel Beer-Sheva and Nice.<\/p>\n

After dropping out of the Champions League on the final matchday, Manchester United<\/a> will start their Europa League campaign with a tie against Spanish outfit Real Sociedad. The La Liga side only won two of their six matches in Group F but still qualified alongside Napoli and ahead of both AZ Alkmaar and Rijeka. Despite shaky form in Europe, Sociedad currently sit top of the Spanish first division, level on points and goal difference with Atletico Madrid.<\/p>\n

Finally, Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side will face Royal Antwerp in their last 32 tie. The Belgians qualified behind Spurs from Group J, while Rangers topped Group D with four wins and two draws from six matches.<\/p>\n
