Brighton & Hove Albion<\/a> defender Ben White<\/a> is a transfer target for three Premier League clubs, with Manchester United<\/a>, Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a> all monitoring the 23-year-old, according to Lyall Thomas at Sky Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n

Brighton Defender White Has Made a Strong Start to the Season<\/h3>\n

Ben White has been in superb form for Brighton this season. The 23-year-old spent last season on loan with Leeds United<\/a> as they secured promotion to the Premier League but returned to his parent club in the summer.<\/p>\n

Since, the defender has impressed for Graham Potters side, starting all ten top-flight games for the Seagulls this season.<\/p>\n

As per the report, White in the fourth-best performing central defender in the Premier League, according to Wyscout’s index ratings.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Interest<\/h3>\n

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has been looking for defensive cover for some time. In the summer, the Red Devils were looking to bring in another central defender to partner Harry Maguire<\/a>, but the club still have several players of that position on the books at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

White Attraction for Jose Mourinho<\/h3>\n

Jose Mourinho has an eye for a young centre back. Having already acquired Joe Rodon<\/a> from Swansea City, White is of a similar ilk. But now, with Toby Alderweireld struggling with injury<\/a> and Davinson Sanchez not hitting the heights as he was expected to reach, further reinforcements may be needed in North London.<\/p>\n

Chelsea to Bolster Back-Line<\/h3>\n

The other club to show interest are Chelsea. Having seen the arrival of Thiago Silva<\/a> and Malang Sarr in the summer, with the latter joining Porto on loan, there is plenty of competition at the Blues. Frank Lampard still has Kurt Zouma<\/a>, who along with Silva are in the top three best performing centre-back in the Premier League, according to Wyscout, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christiansen and Fikayo Tomori as a contest.<\/p>\n

Interest from Elsewhere<\/h3>\n

Liverpool<\/a> are another club to have been monitoring the 23-year-old, but have “no interest” in signing him at this moment in time, despite long-term injuries to Virgil van Dijk<\/a> and Joe Gomez.<\/a><\/p>\n

Leeds, who White spent last season on loan with, tried to sign the defender on a permanent basis last summer. However, their \u00a325 million bid was rejected and he signed a four-year deal with the Seagulls instead.<\/p>\n
