Cherries Beat Royals in Rampant Second-Half Display<\/h3>\n

Veljko Paunovic<\/a> would have certainly welcomed the two-week break, after three consecutive losses going into the international games. And, it looked like that break had worked wonders when the Royals raced into a 2-0 lead at the break.<\/p>\n

However, a brace from Dominic Solanke<\/a> and goals from Arnaut Danjuma and Lewis Cook<\/a> completed quite the turnaround down on the south coast.<\/p>\n

The 4-2 defeat<\/a> means that Reading have now lost four in a row, and is quite a contrast to their start where they won seven of their first eight, conceding a single goal. The victory for Bournemouth<\/a>, sees them move into the automatic positions and just a point off table-toppers, Norwich City.<\/p>\n

Late Goals See Tykes Beat Struggling Forest<\/h3>\n

It is fair to say that Forest have improved under Chris Hughton, but a 2-0 defeat to Barnsley<\/a> is once again a backwards step for the club.<\/p>\n

Callum Styles<\/a> and Cauley Woodrow<\/a> scored in the 85th and 88th minute respectively to ensure victory over the struggling club. In fact, the margin could have quite possibly been a lot more than just the two, with the Tykes hitting the woodwork three times throughout the duration of the 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

The defeat leaves Nottingham Forest<\/a> in 20th position, just four points above the dreaded drop zone, whilst a recently revitalised Barnsley, move up to 13th.<\/p>\n

Canaries Edge Middlesbrough to Top Table in Latest Championship Gameweek<\/h3>\n

Norwich City<\/a> have certainly reacted well to their dismal end to last season that saw them lose every game post-lockdown. A Teemu Pukki<\/a> penalty earned his Norwich side all three points against a Boro side, who had not lost since the opening game of the season.<\/p>\n

20 minutes prior to the eventual winner, Middlesbrough had a chance from the spot-kick themselves. However, Marcus Tavernier<\/a> slipped as he approached the ball, and despite scoring, his effort was disallowed as he touched the ball with both feet.<\/p>\n

The 1-0 victor<\/a>y for Norwich sees the Norfolk club move to the top of the league, whilst Middlesbrough drop to 8th.<\/p>\n
