Erling Haaland has been announced as the winner of the 2020 Golden Boy award.<\/p>\n
The prestigious award, which is given to the best U21 footballer Europe, is decided by a panel of sports journalists across the continent.<\/p>\n
Haaland has set the footballing world alight since his \u20ac20 million transfer to Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg last December.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old has scored 19 times in 21 Bundesliga matches, as well as continuing his remarkable run of scoring in every single Champions League he has played.<\/p>\n
