There was a significant turnout for the ballot at 91.5 per cent.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The duo has promised to invest an initial \u00a32 million into the club\u2019s infrastructure. Wrexham, who currently sit four tiers below the Premier League and 20<sup>th<\/sup> in the table are said to be considering a documentary-style programme at the Racecourse Ground from streaming services like Amazon and Netflix who have produced similar for the likes of Tottenham and Manchester City.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201cWe Want Wrexham to Be a Global Force\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>The club has been under fan ownership since 2011 and both actors have promised to turn the club into a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eveningexpress.co.uk\/sport\/ryan-reynolds-and-rob-mcelhenney-hoping-to-make-wrexham-a-global-force\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">global force\u201d<\/a> and spoke to trust members in a Zoom meeting outlining their mission statement, saying:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If permitted, we\u2019d chase that goal guided by four essential principles.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To protect the heritage that has made Wrexham AFC and the Racecourse Ground such a special place to watch football for the last 156 years.<\/li>\n<li>To reinforce the values, traditions and legacy of this community. We understand and respect the intense loyalty and love for this club and how it\u2019s woven into the fabric of the town and its supporters.<\/li>\n<li>To use our resources to grow the exposure of the club. Of course, this would be in concert with protecting the heart and spirit of a community-led historical icon. But why can&#8217;t the third-oldest club in the world has a global appeal?<\/li>\n<li>To reward the faith of the supporters who have stood by <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/category\/league-football\/\" target=\"_self\">Wrexham AFC<\/a> through its history by putting everything we have towards what all fans want most for their club, and that is to&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>WIN, WIN, WIN.<\/p>\n<p>Everything we do will be informed by these four principles and never one without the other.
