Spain gained a late point against Switzerland 1-1 last time out thanks to a fine strike by Gerard Moreno<\/a> in Basel. Luis Enrique\u2019s side dominated the match but lacked ruthlessness in front of goal. It was an eventful<\/a> game for the European record appearance holder Sergio Ramos,<\/a> who missed two penalties after previously going 25 successful spot-kicks converted.<\/p>\n

Germany Power Past Ukraine<\/h3>\n

Joachim L\u00f6w\u2019s side came from behind to eventually defeat Andriy Shevchenko\u2019s Ukraine 3-1. Talismanic striker Timo Werner<\/a> was at the heart of the action with two goals. The forward is in a rich vein of form at the moment with five goals in his last five games in all competition.<\/p>\n

Spain v Germany: Who Needs What?<\/h3>\n

Germany are currently top the group with nine points from their five games. On the other hand, Spain are just a point behind with eight points in their favour. The maths are simple; a draw for the Germans would be enough to secure their berth in the final four. Meanwhile, the Spaniards know only a win could ensure their place at the finals next October.<\/p>\n

Reaching the Nations League final four is a high priority for both nations. But only one of these titans will prevail. It is beautifully poised with the stage set for a thrilling finale. The statistics and previous meetings suggest a very hard match to call. It is all or nothing for Spain and Germany in this showdown in Seville.<\/p>\n
