Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> representatives are in talks over new deals with Neymar<\/a>, Kylian Mbapp\u00e9<\/a> and Angel Di Maria.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, the Ligue 1 champions have already suffered financial losses this year and negotiating news deals with the three players won’t be straightforward.<\/p>\n

Paris Saint-Germain Begin Talks With Neymar, Mbapp\u00e9 and Di Maria<\/h2>\n

Financial Deficiencies According to PSG Director<\/h3>\n

PSG director Leonardo has confirmed that negotiations have begun. As reported by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, he said<\/a>: \u201cWe\u2019ve started negotiations with Neymar, Mbapp\u00e9 and Di Maria to extend their contracts.<\/p>\n

“Remember that PSG suffered financial losses this year, we\u2019re in a complicated moment, it\u2019s not easy, but we\u2019re talking directly with Mbapp\u00e9 and Neymar\u201d.<\/p>\n

Mbapp\u00e9 and Neymar remain the worlds most expensive transfers. The Brazilian joined Les Parisiens<\/em> from Barcelona<\/a> for \u20ac222 million in the summer of 2017, while Mbapp\u00e9 arrived at the Parc des Princes for \u20ac145m plus \u20ac35m in bonuses.<\/p>\n

The duo have become synonymous with the French champions and tying them down to new deals will only help the club going forward. However, with the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic and the financial losses already attained this season, it may be difficult to keep hold of their star players.<\/p>\n

Angel Di Maria Future<\/h3>\n

Leonardo also spoke about holding talks with Angel Di Maria. The Argentine arrived in Paris from Manchester United<\/a> in 2015 and has become a key part of the PSG side that have secured the title four seasons out of the last five.<\/p>\n

But, with Neymar and Mbapp\u00e9 the likely priority, the club may be looking to offload the 32-year-old to free up some funds to keep hold of the other players.<\/p>\n

Neymar and Mbapp\u00e9 at Paris Saint-Germain<\/h3>\n

The duo have been deadly. According to transfermarkt.com<\/a>, Neymar has scored 72 times and provided 45 assists from just 91 PSG appearances.<\/p>\n

And the statistics for 21-year-old Mbapp\u00e9 are equally impressive. The Frenchman has scored 97 times from 132 outings, adding a further 58 assists.<\/p>\n
