It doesn\u2019t seem too long ago that Marcus Rashford<\/a> burst onto the footballing scene, scoring two goals on his debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League. But he has managed to complete so much since that day.<\/p>\n

Not only has the young man become one of Manchester United<\/a>\u2019s best players, but he has also worked wonders for children living in poverty, and become arguably one of the most admired footballers currently in the game, all before his 23rd birthday.<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford Turns 23 After Making Countless Acheivements<\/h2>\n

Footballing Ability<\/h3>\n

Let it not be forgotten that Rashford is an incredible footballer in his own right.<\/p>\n

The Englishman is a vital part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer\u2019s Manchester United side, having scored 17 and assisted 8 in the Premier League<\/a> last season. When considering that he missed several games due to injury, that is even more impressive.<\/p>\n

Rashford also helped his side to the semi finals in the FA Cup, Carabou Cup, and Europa League.<\/p>\n

His form has not slowed this season either, with four goals in two Champions League<\/a> appearances. This included the fastest ever hat-trick by a substitute in the history of the competition, coming against RB Leipzig as United smashed<\/a> the Bundesliga<\/a> leaders 5-0.<\/p>\n

He has also been important in the Red Devils\u2019 Premier League campaign so far in 2020\/21, netting twice and assisting twice in five appearances.<\/p>\n

And having turned 23 today, Rashford still has a lot of time to improve and realize his world-class potential.<\/p>\n

Off The Pitch<\/h3>\n

Of course, Rashford\u2019s most notable achievements in the past year have come off the pitch.<\/p>\n

He conducted a successful campaign for children to receive free school meals during lockdown earlier this year, as well as raising \u00a320 million after teaming up with Fareshare, and charity focused on fishing hunger and food waste.<\/p>\n

Now, during the most recent school half term, the Englishman has once again driven for children to receive free school meals as they spend time away from school.<\/p>\n

His petition for the government to restart the free school meals reached over one million signatures, and he also inspired many restaurants around the country to give free meals to children who would otherwise have gone hungry.<\/p>\n

Rashford also received an MBE in early October<\/a> as part of the Queen\u2019s birthday honours list for his work to help vulnerable children during the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Not only has Marcus Rashford spent the last year improving his footballing ability, he has also become the hero of millions nationwide, stopping them from going hungry in such a difficult time.<\/p>\n
