The draw has been made for the first round proper of the FA Cup.<\/p>\n
All ties will be played over the weekend of Saturday 7 November. Replays have been scrapped<\/a> for the 2020\/21 season, meaning games will be finished on the day.<\/p>\n Sadly, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, fans will not be able to attend any of those games.<\/p>\n FC United of Manchester have been dealt with a dream first round tie, as the Northern Premier League Premier Division side will host Doncaster Rovers.<\/p>\n The Red Rebels earned their place in the hat after defeating Guiseley 2-1 at Broadhurst Park. Despite their tough draw, they will be hoping to equal their best FA Cup finish; they reached the second round of competition in 2010\/11.<\/p>\n Doncaster will be hoping to avoid an upset when they make the trip to Manchester. Darren Moore’s side currently sit just outside of the League One play-offs, having won 13 points from their opening seven games.<\/p>\n Skelmersdale United have been rewarded for their efforts so far in the competition with a trip to Harrogate Town.<\/p>\n The lowest-ranked side in the competition have negotiated six rounds of the cup already, having begun their campaign in the Extra Preliminary round against Penistone Church. They booked their place in round one of the FA Cup having defeated Stafford Rangers 4-1.<\/p>\n As a result of their triumph in Staffordshire, Skelmersdale became the first team from the North West Counties League to reach the first round since 1986.<\/p>\n However, they face one of the most in-form teams in League Two currently in Harrogate Town.
