Nottingham Forest fans have turned to social media to voice their thoughts on a late 1-0 victory at Blackburn Rovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

‘Three-Month Raincloud Lifted’<\/h3>\n

The victory, Forest<\/a>‘s first of the season, came thanks to Joe Lolley<\/a>‘s 90th-minute deflected strike.<\/p>\n

The winger, who had impressed throughout the match, cleverly beat his marker on 89 minutes and watched as his left-footed effort deflected off a defender and beyond the wrong-footed Thomas Kaminski<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There was little to separate the two sides for 89 minutes of the fixture at Ewood Park, before Lolley scored to settle the tie.<\/p>\n

A bright start to the game led to Luke Freeman<\/a> and Lewis Grabban<\/a> linking up early on. The former fizzed a low cross to Grabban, but the forward was unable to convert from close range.<\/p>\n

Further chances fell to Sammy Ameobi<\/a> and Lyle Taylor<\/a> – both of which struck the post from opposing corners of the penalty area.<\/p>\n

Ameobi came close again with a stabbed effort towards goal which hit the upright. But it was Lolley’s deflected error less than a minute from the end that wrapped up the game.<\/p>\n

The result provides Forest with their first set of points of the season – ending a run of four back-to-back defeats in the Championship<\/a> – and Forest fans are understandably pleased to end such a run.<\/p>\n
