Paul Pogba<\/a> will be a Manchester United<\/a> player for the next two years, according to Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Solskjaer has hinted that the France midfielder will not be offered a new contract to keep him at the club beyond his existing deal. The player himself also told the media while on international duty that executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has not approached him<\/a> over extending his stay at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

United Manager Wants to See the Best of Pogba<\/h3>\n

Twenty-seven-year-old Pogba’s current contract runs until the end of the 2020\/21 season. United, however, have the option to trigger an additional 12 months on top of that.<\/p>\n

Ahead of his side’s upcoming fixture with Newcastle United<\/a>, Solskjaer has suggested that the club will do exactly that, before allowing the midfielder to leave in two years’ time.<\/p>\n

“Paul’s our player, he’s going to be here for another two years and I’m sure Paul is focused on doing his best for us and we want to see the best of Paul,” the 47-year-old<\/a> told reporters of the latest rumours linking the club’s record signing with a move away.<\/p>\n

“So, in the next couple of years, I’m sure we’ll get the best out of him.”<\/p>\n

Pogba Once Again Flirting With Real Madrid Move<\/h3>\n

Spanish giants Real Madrid<\/a> were linked to the player before Pogba’s return to Manchester from Italian champions Juventus<\/a>. Rumours of an eventual transfer to the Bernabeu have never fully dissipated since then, and Pogba described playing for Real as his “dream” while away on international duty this month.<\/p>\n

At a press conference ahead of his country’s draw with European champions Portugal<\/a>, Pogba claimed<\/a>: “All football players would love to play for Real Madrid. It is a dream for me. Why not one day?”<\/p>\n

If Manchester United do decide against offering him a new contract, then Pogba would potentially be able to move to the Spanish capital as a free agent in 2022.<\/p>\n
