After coming through the academy at Rochdale, he then joined <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/football\/clubs\/west-brom\/\" target=\"_self\">West Bromwich Albion<\/a> in August 2010.<\/p>\n<p>However, it was not until a year later that he made his debut for the Baggies. Dawson then developed slowly into a first-team regular over the next few years at The Hawthorns.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old was then finally granted an extended run during the 2014\/15 season. He made 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.<\/p>\n<p>Dawson made 225 appearances for the Baggies before joining Watford last season.<\/p>\n<p>He was an instant regular, making 30 appearances in all competitions for the Hornets.<\/p>\n<h3>What Was Said?<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking about his move to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whufc.com\/news\/articles\/2020\/october\/12-october\/west-ham-united-add-experienced-defender-craig-dawson\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">West Ham United website,<\/a> Dawson spoke about his experience and his delight about being back in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted to be here and really looking forward to being back in the Premier League and working with the manager and group of lads,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really excited and looking ahead to the game at the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t wait to get started and share my experience.
