Liverpool<\/a> will reportedly hold talks with winger Harry Wilson<\/a> over a possible departure from the club on loan.<\/p>\n

David Lynch of The Evening Standard reports<\/a> that discussions will take place once the 23-year-old returns from international duty with Wales.<\/p>\n

Liverpool to Allow Harry Wilson Loan Exit<\/h2>\n

Wilson Not Named in Champions League Squad<\/h3>\n

Wilson does not appear to be in Jurgen Klopp’s plans for his squad this season and was omitted from the Reds’ squad for the Champions League<\/a> group stages.<\/p>\n

This has reportedly alerted many clubs towards the player’s potential availability. The Evening Standard also claim<\/a> that Burnley<\/a> have made official contact<\/a> with Liverpool regarding either a loan deal or a permanent transfer.<\/p>\n

Previous loan moves away from Anfield have allowed Wilson to showcase his talents. The winger was part of the Derby County side that reached the Championship play-off final two seasons ago. Additionally, in 2019\/20, he scored a respectable seven goals in 31 appearances<\/a> as Bournemouth<\/a> suffered relegation from the Premier League.<\/p>\n

EFL Move a Possibility for Wilson<\/h3>\n

The prospect of a move to the Championship also appears possible for Wilson. The window for transfers to be made between Premier League and EFL clubs – either loan or permanent deals – does not slam shut until the 16 October deadline.<\/p>\n

In addition to his stint at Derby, Wilson has also starred for Hull City on loan in the second tier. Any clubs seeking a permanent deal for the player will be put off by the Anfield club’s reported \u00a320 million valuation<\/a> of their out-of-favour wide player.<\/p>\n

Wilson’s only appearance for the Reds since his debut in 2017 came in the Carabao Cup fourth round fixture at home to Arsenal<\/a>. Having played the full 90 minutes, Wilson missed the decisive penalty as Mikel Arteta<\/a>‘s Gunners triumphed in the shootout following a 0-0 draw.<\/p>\n

Over the coming days, Wales’ next international fixtures will see them take on Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria away from home. Ryan Giggs<\/a>‘ side were beaten 3-0 by England on Thursday.<\/p>\n
