Sabri Lamouchi<\/a> believes he is still the right person to lead Nottingham Forest<\/a> despite suffering a fourth consecutive defeat this season.<\/p>\n

The Reds suffered their fourth defeat of the season to Bristol City, with Dean Holden<\/a>‘s side maintaining their unbeaten start to the campaign.\u00a0It leaves Forest without a point so far this term and just one goal to their record.<\/p>\n

Lamouchi’s side offered little during a slow first-half performance but produced an improved showing after the break.<\/p>\n

Goals from ex-Derby County man Andreas Weimann<\/a> and Nahki Wells<\/a> gave the visitors the lead.<\/p>\n

Luke Freeman<\/a> scored with a spectacular strike ten minutes before the interval, although the Reds were unable to get another goal past a red-hot Daniel Bentley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Forest’s poor run of form – their worst start to a season for more than sixty years – has led to growing pressure on Lamouchi.<\/p>\n

But the Frenchman admitted he turned down opportunities to manage in the Premier League, and abroad, before accepting an extended deal from Forest in June.<\/p>\n

And he suggested that the commitment shown to the Reds will delay a decision regarding his managerial record.<\/p>\n

Asked whether he thinks he will continue to be manager after the international break, he said: “I don’t know. It is a good question, but I don’t have the answer.<\/p>\n

“I hope I am.”<\/p>\n

When pressed on whether he has the backing of the dressing room, he added: “I think they still show that support, because they showed me a reaction.<\/p>\n

“Without a reaction, I can imagine something is wrong and it would be impossible to change that.<\/p>\n

“We created chances and Daniel Bentley, their goalkeeper, made some unbelievable saves.<\/p>\n

“It is a bad moment and it is difficult. It is bad news after bad news, bad result and bad result. We need to find a solution quickly.”<\/p>\n

“I just want to look forward. We have two weeks to work, the transfer window closes and there is time to work with these new players before the game,” he added.<\/p>\n

“We need to put our feet on the floor. Everyone at the club – players, staff, manager – need to put their feet on the floor and wake up, because the situation is absolutely unacceptable for all of us.”<\/p>\n
