Parma<\/a> full-back Matteo Darmian<\/a> will have a medical to join Inter Milan<\/a> on Friday, Fabrizio Romano<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

The former Manchester United<\/a> defender will join Antonio Conte’s operation at San Siro for a fee of \u20ac2.5 million.<\/p>\n

Inter Milan Agree Deal to Sign Matteo Darmian<\/h2>\n

Darmian Finally Joining Inter<\/h3>\n

Inter Milan have long been interested in signing Darmian, having held talks during the Italian’s stay at Old Trafford<\/a>. He ended up returning to Serie A<\/a> with Parma though, however, is set to make the move back to Milan.<\/p>\n

Darmian started out in Milan with Inter’s rivals AC Milan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After a loan spell with Padova, he joined Palermo permanently. Following that, he gained recognition for his efforts at Torino<\/a> and was signed by Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.<\/p>\n

Initial expectations were high and Darmian never lived up to them, though he remains a useful footballer and should fit in well with Conte’s system at Inter.<\/p>\n

Featured Heavily for Parma Since United Departure<\/h3>\n

Since leaving United, Darmian has made 36 appearances<\/a> for Parma in Italy. He’s delivered one goal and one assist for his team and will now move on and look to build on his 150 Serie A appearances<\/a> in the Province of his birth.<\/p>\n

His return to Italy originally seemed motivated by a desire to play for Italy again and missing the country<\/a> in general. He hasn’t appeared for the national team since, however, joining Inter, who challenged for the title last season, he may have a greater capacity to impress Roberto Mancini.<\/p>\n

Dalbert Leaving for Rennes<\/h3>\n

Going out of the exit door at Inter is Dalbert. The Brazilian will join Ligue 1<\/a> side Rennes<\/a>, where he will have a medical on Friday. He leaves Inter on loan with an option to buy for \u20ac12 million, as also reported by Fabrizio Romano<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dalbert featured heavily for Inter Milan last season, making 34 appearances and providing nine assists<\/a>. Though, it appears Conte is ready for change.<\/p>\n

Romano also claims<\/a> Inter are working on a deal to bring Marcos Alonso<\/a> back to Italy, with Premier League<\/a> side Chelsea<\/a> willing to let him leave on loan.<\/p>\n
