Nigerian defender Troost-Ekong has signed a five-year contract, taking the number six shirt in the process.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">17-year-old Djibril Tour\u00e9 has also completed a move, signing a five and a half year deal. Troost-Ekong arrives ready to slot straight into the Hornets&#8217; backline as they seek a promotion at the first attempt. Tour\u00e9, on the other hand, joining in January, is a signing for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The forward will arrive, learn, improve, and, ultimately prove to be a shroud piece of business by Watford. For now, though, he must wait for his opportunity, and Watford fans must wait for his arrival with great anticipation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Watford Looking for Instant Premier League Return<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">After putting pen to paper, the hope will be playing Premier League football in the not so distant future. Troost-Ekong, previously of Udinese, will be desperate to reach the top flight to add to his extensive list of platforms reached as a player. The Nigerian has made previous appearances at World Cups and African Cup of Nations tournaments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">His experience could prove vital in Watford&#8217;s chase for a return to the Premier League.
