According to Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards<\/a>, Tottenham Hotspur<\/a> are \u201clucky\u201d to have forward Son Heung-min<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former Manchester City<\/a> and Aston Villa<\/a> defender considers the 28-year-old to be among the Premier League<\/a>\u2019s best alongside Kevin De Bruyne<\/a> and Liverpool <\/a>winger Sadio Mane<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Micah Richards Heaps Praise on Son Heung-min<\/h2>\n

Despite the 2020\/21 season still being relatively young, Son has already hit a rich vein of form. The South Korean launched his campaign with four-goal haul at Southampton<\/a> and had a hand in all three of Spurs\u2019 strikes in the Europa League qualifier against KF Shkendija<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Son came close to adding to his tally against Newcastle United<\/a>, hitting the woodwork twice before coming off with an injury<\/a> at half-time.<\/p>\n

Former England international Micah Richards says has been impressed with the Korean\u2019s showing so far this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis form is absolutely incredible,\u201d Richards said<\/a> while covering Spurs\u2019 1-1 draw with the Magpies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I worked under Steve Bruce<\/a>, he would pinpoint how he\u2019d want me to play, how to set up against someone like this.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone might want to man-mark him but when you\u2019ve got this player in this sort of form, it doesn\u2019t matter what you try and do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next to Elite Company<\/h3>\n

Since arriving in north London in 2015, Son has provided a different dimension to the Spurs attack. The Korean joined an exclusive club last season, tallying 11 goals and ten assists<\/a> in the Premier League. In the process, he became only the fourth player in Spurs history to achieve this.<\/p>\n

Richards believes the 28-year-old\u2019s style of play is a valuable asset for Spurs and a danger for any opposition.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always finds the spaces, he always looks to run in behind. What I like about Son the most is his composure in front of goal,\u201d Richards added.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow many times do you see him miss chances? Very rarely. He\u2019s an absolute steal for Spurs.<\/p>\n

Richards also hasn\u2019t been afraid in comparing the Korean international alongside two of the league\u2019s elite attacking stars.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of talk about Mane and Kevin De Bruyne, and rightly so, but for me, Son is right up there.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpurs are lucky to have him because he\u2019s an absolute treasure of a player.\u201d<\/p>\n
