Fulham<\/a> are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> defender Ryan Bennett according to Nick Mashiter<\/a> and FourFourTwo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fulham are desperate for defensive reinforcements after conceding ten goals in their first three Premier League games.<\/p>\n

Scott Parker is looking to shore up his very leaky defence and sees Bennett as a viable option.<\/p>\n

The report suggests Fulham will target a loan deal for the Wolves centre half. However, it is also noted the defender may well stay at Molineux.<\/p>\n

Scott Parker is desperate for defensive reinforcements after their most recent league defeat. Fulham were thumped at home by Aston Villa<\/a> which saw them slump to a third straight defeat. It also took their goals conceded tally to double figures. Only West Bromwich Albion<\/a> have conceded more goals so far this season.<\/p>\n

Fulham\u2019s search for defenders is getting desperate with owner Tony Khan making an impassioned speech on Twitter<\/a>. He confirmed the search for defenders remains the priority and noted how many targets they have missed out on.<\/p>\n

Bennett provides much needed Premier League experience. The defender has struggled for game time at Wolves and had brief loan spell at Leicester City<\/a> in the second half of last season. He is down the pecking order at Wolves and a move to Fulham offers him regular game time.<\/p>\n

Scott Parker has experimented with formations this season and started with a back three against Villa. Bennett is no stranger to playing in a back three with Wolves preferring this setup. The defender should slot into the defence and help the likes of Michael Hector and Tim Ream adapt to the league quicker.<\/p>\n

Bennett\u2019s arrival would certainly be a good one for both player and club. His arrival would provide more options and he is someone who can provide the leadership and organisation Fulham are currently craving.<\/p>\n
