Nottingham Forest<\/a> hope to register their first victory of the season at Huddersfield Town<\/a> tonight (September 25).<\/p>\n

Reds’ Predicted XI and Team News<\/h3>\n

Sabri Lamouchi<\/a>‘s side are pointless – and goal-less – having lost their opening fixtures of the Championship<\/a> season against Cardiff City<\/a> and Queens Park Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Reds were beaten 2-0 in both league fixtures of the current season, but have only managed four shots on goal from their opening two matches.<\/p>\n

If Forest have any hope of challenging for promotion, the Midlands outfit must begin collecting maximum points sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n

Ahead of tonight’s match at Huddersfield Town, we have taken a look at who could feature in West Yorkshire.<\/p>\n

Goalkeeper<\/strong><\/p>\n

It’s unlikely that the addition of Abdoulaye Diallo<\/a> will lead to Brice Samba<\/a> being replaced as the number one shot-stopper.<\/p>\n

He could, however, beat Jordan Smith<\/a> to the back-up ‘keeper role on the substitutes’ bench.<\/p>\n

Defence<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starting with central defence, Joe Worrall<\/a> is likely to miss out on the trip to Yorkshire due to a reported foot injury.<\/p>\n

That means Tobias Figueiredo<\/a> could be partnered with either Scott McKenna<\/a> or Lo\u00efc Mbe Soh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is likely McKenna holds the advantage over 19-year-old Soh, with the Scotsman having more senior experience.<\/p>\n

Cyrus Christie<\/a> could make his Forest debut, having signed from Fulham<\/a> on-loan last Friday.<\/p>\n

Yuri Ribeiro<\/a> is likely to be given another chance to feature at left-back.<\/p>\n

Midield<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Fouad Bachirou<\/a> and Tiago Silva<\/a> unlikely to feature until after the international break, Lamouchi still has a number of options to choose from in midfield.<\/p>\n

Samba Sow<\/a> could return but – having spent some time on the touchline – a partnership of Jack Colback<\/a> and new signing Harry Arter<\/a> seems more likely.<\/p>\n

It means Ryan Yates<\/a>, who has started every game so far this season, would drop to the bench.<\/p>\n

Sat just ahead of the midfield duo – as a number ten, attacking midfielder – will likely be Luke Freeman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lamouchi could have to make a call about who to select in right midfield. Lolley hobbled off in last week’s defeat which could leave Alex Mighten the opportunity to feature in the first team.<\/p>\n

There seems to be no suggestion that Lolley’s early departure six days ago was anything serious, so Lolley seems a more likely option but Mighten remains a sensible, risk-free option.<\/p>\n

Sammy Ameobi<\/a> will likely start his fourth consecutive game of the season having been favoured on the right-wing.<\/p>\n

Forward<\/strong><\/p>\n

The battle between Lewis Grabban<\/a> and Lyle Taylor<\/a> to start as a sole striker continues to rage at The City Ground.<\/p>\n

Neither have managed to net their first goals of the season just yet, but Taylor has not yet been given a start.<\/p>\n

That suggests he could be entrusted with leading Forest’s attack at Huddersfield Town, with the 30-year-old desperate to get among the goals.<\/p>\n
