Burnley are in talks to sign Harry Wilson on a permanent deal from Liverpool, according to James Pearce<\/a> of The Athletic.<\/p>\n

Discussions have opened over the sale of the Welsh international after the signing of Diogo Jota<\/a> from Wolverhampton Wanderers<\/a> saw Wilson fall further down the pecking order at Anfield.<\/p>\n

An official bid has not been made but early discussions are that Liverpool would like \u00a320 million for the 23-year old. A switch to Turf Moor could see an end to a 14-year association between the player and club after he joined the club\u2019s U9s.<\/p>\n

Burnley\u2019s current transfer record is Ben Gibson, who was signed for \u00a315.2 million from Middlesbrough in 2018.<\/p>\n

The winger did impress during his time on the south coast on loan at Bournemouth<\/a>, playing 35 games and scoring seven goals, despite the club getting relegated to the Championship.<\/p>\n

Leeds Cool Interest<\/h3>\n

Leeds United<\/a> boss Marco Bielsa has ruled out a move<\/a> for the 23-year old winger after not wanting to meet the valuation of \u00a320 million. Leeds see the player\u2019s value at \u00a316 million and are not willing to go further.<\/p>\n

The Yorkshire side have been front-runners for the winger all window, but it seems Burnley edged in front after holding firm discussions. It is rumoured that Bielsa has turned his attention<\/a> to Manchester United\u2019s Daniel James<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ismaila Sarr to Liverpool?<\/h3>\n

As reports link Harry Wilson with a move away from Liverpool, all eyes turn towards Jurgen Klopp\u2019s reported interest<\/a> in Watford\u2019s<\/a> Ismaila Sarr.<\/p>\n

It is thought Liverpool had enquired about the Senegalese and is seriously being considered as Klopp looks to bolster his options off the bench. Reports from France Football<\/a> suggest that the Reds have agreed a fee of between \u20ac35-40 million with the Championship side.<\/p>\n

The Anfield club are also looking to move on Rhian Brewster<\/a> while Burnley are also close to agreeing a deal for Brighton & Hove Albion’s<\/a> Dale Stephens<\/a>.<\/p>\n
