The draws for the second and third round of the Carabao Cup have been made following the conclusion of the first-round ties. The draw was made for the two following rounds are being made together due to the proximity of the two rounds – with the first four rounds of the competition needing to be completed by the end of September due to the shortened football season.<\/p>\n
The second round remains unseeded and was still regionalised into a northern section and a southern section.<\/p>\n
The 13 Premier League teams that are not involved in European competition join the Carabao Cup at this stage, as well as relegated Premier League sides Bournemouth and Watford.<\/p>\n
