West Ham United<\/a> have shown an interest in Brentford winger Sa\u00efd\u00a0Benrahma<\/a>, According to Sky Sports<\/a>. The Hammers are reportedly set to make a bid once they sell Grady Diangana<\/a>, who is expected to join<\/a> West Brom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Benrahma has sparked interest amongst a number of Premier League<\/a> clubs since his Brentford side narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight.<\/p>\n

According to the Telegraph<\/a>, West Ham are hopeful of signing the Algerian for a \u00a320 million transfer fee. This comes after reports suggested that Brentford valued Benrahma at \u00a330 million.<\/p>\n

Impressive 2019\/20 Campaign for Sa\u00efd\u00a0Benrahma<\/h3>\n

After Benrahma\u2019s superb second half of the 2018\/19 campaign, the Algerian winger was predicted to have an excellent 2019\/20 season. And that he did. The 25-year-old scored 17 goals and registered nine assists in a season where Brentford deserved promotion to England\u2019s top tier.<\/p>\n

Benrahma\u2019s outstanding season was also recognised on a wider scale. He was nominated for both the EFL Player of the year and PFA Fans\u2019 Championship<\/a> Player of the Year awards. Had the Bees been promoted, Benrahma would have fancied his chances of picking up both accolades.<\/p>\n

West Ham\u2019s Chase for Benrahma Depends on Diangana Situation<\/h3>\n

Despite many West Ham fans expressing their anger with reports that Diangana could leave, he could play a major part in the Hammers’ pursuit of Benrahma. West Brom have placed an \u00a318 million bid for the 22-year-old<\/a>, who spent a season on loan at the Hawthorns last year.<\/p>\n

It is expected that, when a deal is finalised with Diangana and West Brom, the Hammers will start to negotiate a deal for Benrahma.<\/p>\n

West Ham May Face Competition for Sa\u00efd Benrahma<\/h3>\n

West Ham may face competition from other Premier League teams\u00a0for the winger’s signature. However, there is seemingly no team better placed than West Ham to secure his signature this summer, if reports are to be believed.<\/p>\n

Should West Ham secure a deal for Benrahma, it will be heralded as one of the best of the summer as the Premier League campaign approaches.<\/p>\n
