Paris Saint-Germain<\/a> snubbed the opportunity to sign Arsenal<\/a> midfielder Matteo Guendouzi<\/a> according to Jason Burt of The Telegraph.<\/a><\/p>\n

The French midfielder is no longer in Mikel Arteta<\/a>‘s plans. The Gunners boss seemingly wants to offload Guendozi this season according to reports from Sky Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

REPORT: Paris Saint-Germain Snub Matteo Guendouzi<\/h2>\n

No Interest for Guendouzi<\/h3>\n

PSG reportedly<\/a> remain interested in signing Arsenal<\/a> full-back Hector Bellerin<\/a> this summer. However, in recent negotiations, the Ligue 1 champions were offered Matteo Guendouzi but rejected the chance to sign the 21-year-old midfielder.<\/a><\/p>\n

Arteta wants to sell Guendouzi to raise transfer funds in order to strengthen other areas of his squad this summer.<\/p>\n

Seemingly, Arteta’s number one target<\/a> is Atletico Madrid<\/a> midfielder Thomas Partey<\/a>, who Arsenal have been linked with long-term. Partey is reportedly keen to move to London<\/a> to join Arsenal, but the move will be reliant on whether Arsenal can sell players<\/a> to raise enough transfer funds.<\/p>\n

Arsenal want\u00a0to command a decent fee<\/a> for Guendouzi, which would provide them with the finances to make a move for Partey. The 21-year-old has also been linked with a loan move to Valencia this summer, but the Gunners only want to sell<\/a> the Frenchman.<\/p>\n

Out in the Cold at Arsenal<\/h3>\n

Guendouzi is unlikely to feature under Arteta at Arsenal this season. The French international has not played for the Gunners since he reacted angrily at full time following Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion<\/a> in July.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman then missed the final eight games of the season and appears to be out of Arteta’s future plans.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old signed for the Gunners from French side FC Lorient in August 2018 at the age of 19.<\/p>\n

He has played 82 games for Arsenal since his arrival. The French midfielder has scored one goal and has made five assists in his two years at the Emirates.<\/p>\n
