Real Madrid<\/a> midfielder Dani Ceballos<\/a> is set to return to Arsenal<\/a> on loan, Fabrizio Romano reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old has reportedly turned three offers from Italy<\/a> and Spain<\/a> down.<\/p>\n

Dani Ceballos Returning to Arsenal on Loan<\/h2>\n

Only Arsenal<\/h3>\n

Dani Ceballos will return to the Emirates Stadium for the 2020\/21 season. The Spanish midfielder spent the whole of the 2019\/20 season with the club and is going to return for a second loan spell.<\/p>\n

He has rejected advances from abroad and is claimed to have responded to those offers with “Only Arsenal”.<\/p>\n

Ceballos will no doubt be looking to secure a place in Spain’s squad for Euro 2020, which will be played in the summer of 2021.<\/p>\n

Luis Enrique did not name Ceballos among his squad<\/a> for the upcoming UEFA Nations League<\/a> fixtures, so the former Real Betis<\/a> midfielder has work to do to get back in his thoughts.<\/p>\n

He has featured nine times for his country so far.<\/p>\n

How 2019\/20 Spell Went<\/h3>\n

Ceballos’ first loan spell at Arsenal was mixed. He’s been through three managers and the club finished in an unacceptable league position, however, they ended the season with silverware.<\/p>\n

He earnt his FA Cup<\/a> medal too, featuring in wins over Manchester City<\/a> and Chelsea<\/a> in the semi-final and final respectively.<\/p>\n

Arsenal have looked a different side since Arteta’s arrival. Despite, some slip-ups they have managed to look like they are working towards something, and silverware will only help that cause.<\/p>\n

Arsenal’s 2020\/21 campaign has already begun, just as the last one ended. They were victorious at Wembley, all be it, via a penalty shootout, when beating Liverpool<\/a> to the Community Shield. It may just be the Community Shield – but overcoming the Premier League<\/a> champions at Wembley, added to the successful FA Cup campaign, will help breed the mentality Arteta promises to return to Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Ceballos made 37 appearances in his first spell with the Gunners, despite missing over a month with injury last winter.<\/p>\n
